Get Easter ready with a bespoke flower arranging class in the Lakes

If you’re planning an Easter or springtime gathering this year and want to dress your home to impress and truly make your home guest-ready, then you’ve come to the right place, as Heft, High Newton in the Lake District gear up to host a bespoke flower arranging course to show you how to get ahead and get Easter ready!

Join local florist and actress Becky Hindley, owner of Erda Botanicals, on Wednesday 13 April, as she takes a little time out of her day to share some of her knowledge and insight as she demonstrates how to create the perfect seasonal table centrepiece.

Becky, who specialises in creating natural arrangements from seasonal, sustainable flowers and foraged materials will lead a step-by-step tutorial, which will guide each participant through the process of creating a beautiful seasonal bowl arrangement fit to grace the centre of their Easter tables.

Each stunning centrepiece will be carefully crafted using seasonal, locally grown flowers, many from Becky’s own cutting garden and a selection of specially foraged materials she will bring along to help those attending unleash their creativity.

The session will start at 10am with freshly brewed coffee and a selection of tasty baked treats. After which Becky will get the course underway. Chef Kevin Tickle and his team will get busy in Heft’s kitchens, ready to serve up a light lunch a little later on. Which all means that participants can spend all their time fully focussed on crafting the perfect table masterpieces before gathering for their lunch time reward.

So, whether you’re in a group or just fancy popping along on your own, this creative workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn something new, make friends and have fun at the same time!

Places are limited and must be pre-booked, tickets cost £95 per person, which includes all materials, including a beautiful handmade bowl crafted by Christina Whitehill, and expert tuition provided by Becky Hindley and a light lunch.
