The team at Heft are pleased to announce that the restaurant is now officially open, and bookings are now live for both lunch and dinner.
With all the pieces in place, Kevin and Nicola Tickle are pleased to reveal the realisation of their vision for their restaurant located at Heft, in the Cumbrian village of Newton-in-Cartmel.
Reservations for lunch and dinner are open as follows:
Lunch reservations are initially being taken for Friday and Saturday – a three course lunch is available priced at £35 per person.
Dinner reservations are initially open for bookings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday – a six course tasting menu is available, which also includes a selection of snacks and pre-dessert priced at £85 per person.
Additional lunch and dinner services will be added in the coming weeks, alongside a very different offering for Sunday’s, which will be revealed shortly.
The Inn, the first venture from the husband-and-wife team, has undergone a significant 12-month refurbishment programme. The former 17th-century coaching Inn now boasts a contemporary bar serving quality beers and carefully selected wines, and a 28 cover fine-dining restaurant serving up chef patron Kevin’s Tickle’s unique take on modern British food, using a wealth of locally reared and farmed produce in his dishes.
Phase two of the development, which is set to commence in the coming months, will see the addition of five guest rooms, created with local interior design house Inkwood Interiors, which will feature bespoke fabrics from the likes of Cumbria’s Cabbage & Curtain Rail to deliver simple but rustically chic individually designed guest rooms, completing the transformation of Heft into a contemporary Inn with Rooms.
