We have two political heavyweights in the Main House on Sunday providing their own perspective on politics.
First up is the former foreign secretary David Owen who will be looking at A Long and Troubled Relationship – the relations between Britain and Russia over the past 200 years. And I am sure this will take us up to the present day with the conflict going on in Ukraine at the moment.
Author of Riddle, Mystery, and Enigma – 200 Years of British-Russian Relations, David is the ideal person to put the current crisis into a historic perspective.
He is followed at 3.30 pm by Gavin Barwell – Inside No. 10.
The former Chief of Staff, Gavin can tell us more about how No.10 works, and recent issues around the current premiership.
Author of Chief of Staff – Notes From Downing Street, this is one I am really looking forward to hearing. A unique insight into how our country is run.
