If you’re in Keswick this weekend and wondering what to do with the kids, then we’ve got a fantastic programme of events for children, young people and their families happening just across the road from the theatre, in the stunningly located Crow Park.
We’ve teamed up with English Touring Theatre (ETT) with support from the National Trust to bring you Trailer Story, a theatre festival taking place this weekend from Thu 5 – Sun 8 August. As part of the festival, we’ve got a fab children’s programme happening each morning; join us for a beatboxing workshop, stand-up comedy, an interactive adventure trail and a show that’ll take you in search of a polar bear! And we’ve even got a fun activity in store for if it rains – which not only do we hope will earn us an extra brownie point with you, but will also ensure you have a cracking time whatever the weather.
If you’ve got older children, we’ve got some great shows on for young people aged 11+ each afternoon. Enjoy everything from a rock opera, to farfetched Lakeland folklore, to Shakespeare!
