Businesses from across the North West of England have been recognised for their excellent achievements over the last 12 months at a sold-out event at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Celebrating Small Business Awards highlights the best in class across a range of categories for small and medium sized businesses employing less than 250 staff.
Winners this year included a carbon neutral holiday park; a rapidly growing theatre school; a neuropsychology healthcare provider and an IT equipment disinfection business – and from Cumbria: The Quiet Site, Platinum Live and Razzamatazz Theatre Schools.
FSB Regional Chair Chris Manka spoke to welcome attendees at the event, recognising the incredible challenges businesses across the area have faced through the pandemic:
“Achieving success against the backdrop of the last two years is hugely impressive. Businesses have shown incredible resilience in surviving, pivoting and thriving and we should all say a big thank you for the role you have played in keeping our economy moving and supporting your communities through the services and goods you supply and the jobs you provide”.
The North West winners will now go on to represent the region at a star-studded event in Glasgow in May which will feature area winners from across the UK.
