Cumbria Business Growth Hub has partnered with the University of Cumbria to deliver an Entrepreneur and new business bootcamp on Wednesday 16 November at the University’s Fusehill Street Campus in Carlisle. Running from 10am to 4pm this in-person event will encourage and upskill new and aspiring business owners.
The day will bring together a team of speakers and entrepreneurs from across Cumbria to discuss a diverse range of topics essential to new businesses.
Sessions will cover everything from branding basics to accounting essentials, local sources of free business support and more. The full schedule is:

- Vicky Hutchinson (The Creative Hutch) – Business Branding Basics

- Ben Heslop (Carlisle BIPC) – How the BIPC can support your business
- Oliver Hodgson (Platinum Live) – The journey of a young entrepreneur
- John McAllister (Barclays Eagle Lab) – How Barclays Eagle Lab can support your business
The event will also be a great opportunity to network and meet others in the same boat, providing that sense of community which is often vital to new business owners, to learn from each other’s experiences and share ideas.
With lunch and refreshments provided, this free-to-attend event contains something for everyone regardless of their business idea or stage.
