Highlights Rural Touring and Eden District Council are inviting communities across the district to engage in Covid-secure arts activities and events, on and offline, through their joint initiative: Highlighting Eden.
Working with a number of regional artists to deliver free online arts workshops for all ages, the programme leads up to a Light Up festival on Saturday 20th March – inviting individuals, businesses and schools to light up 1000 windows, doorsteps or gardens with homemade lanterns.
Highlighting Eden has unveiled its workshop programme for the coming months.

6th March : Make a rod puppet and bring it to life, Upfront Puppet Theatre

10th March : Creative Writing with Katie Hale, Recording/performance

11th March : Write a Character Monologue with Peter Macqueen – performance and recording workshop 7-9pm

There is also the Milk Bottle Lantern making workshop with The Studio Morland, which will be available from Saturday 27th February at
