CARLISLE’S The Sands Centre is one of a handful of theatres across the country to be lifting the curtain on a traditional pantomime this Christmas.
Beauty and the Beast will run from Friday, 18 – Thursday 24 December 2020.
This year’s production is a specially designed 75 minute, socially distanced, festive treat for all the family, with a reduced capacity and no interval to minimise crowding.
A spokesperson for The Sands said: “Our spellbinding pantomime tells the story of Belle who longs for romance and adventure, a bad-mannered Prince who is transformed into a Beast to teach him a lesson and a good Fairy who makes both their dreams come true.
“Be our socially distanced guest for a ‘beauty’ of a panto starring Carlisle lad and Britain’s Got Talent Winner – Collabro’s Matt Pagan, CFM Radio’s Robbie Dee, The X Factor & Celebrity Big Brother’s Stevi Ritchie, hilarious impressionist Andrew Fleming and Search for a Star winner Holly Neaves!
