The mobile communications specialist SMS Speedway has been named as one of the top UK suppliers for estate agents.
The company, based at Carlisle in Cumbria, specialises in providing messaging, marketing, automation and ID software for estate agents and lettings agents.
It was one of only three businesses recognised in the ‘telephony, networking and IT’ category at the Kerfuffle Supplier of the Year Awards.
Kerfuffle’s online platform is the UK’s biggest marketplace for PropTech – property technology – with 600 supplier listings, recommendations from estate agents and resources to help agents identify the best suppliers.
Bradley Kieser, founder and chief executive of SMS Speedway, said: “Competition for these awards is intense. It’s really tough to make the top three.
“Kerfuffle places great emphasis on feedback from agents who have used our products. The award shows conclusively that we have excellent products backed by top-class customer service. We’re thrilled to get this recognition.”
SMS Speedway offers innovative products, integrated with market-leading property CRMs. Many use artificial intelligence to automate routine tasks, freeing up agents to use their time more productively.
They include the ReachMe and Ad-hoc messaging services, automated confirmations and reminders for viewings, interactive property brochures direct to clients’ mobile phones and MarketMe, which delivers a wide range of content to clients such as images, videos and PDFs.
ID products include FaceCheck, which verifies that the person who is uploading an identity document is the person on that document’s photograph, and DocCheck, a fraud detection and data extraction service for official documents such as utility bills and bank statements.
Bradley added: “There’s a common thread running through all our products. They enable agents to provide a better service to vendors, buyers and landlords. That’s a valuable benefit at any time but especially so now given market conditions are difficult and agents have to make every penny count.”
Kerfuffle’s awards are based on agent reviews and net promoter scores of products and services used through the platform during 2023.
Simon Whale, chief executive of Kerfuffle, said: “The Kerfuffle awards are unique for a few reasons, first they are the whole of the market, this isn’t a shortlist made up of suppliers who’ve paid to ‘make the grade.’
“The good, the bad and the ugly are included whether that’s via the agent’s reviews or the net promoter scores collected in the dashboards we have covering more than 7,000 agents.”
