Sell-out Beaujolais Evening returns to Askham Hall for another year

Nico Chieze

Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms Askham Hall has announced that its annual sell-out Beaujolais Evening will return once again this year and for 2023 it’s offering tickets complete with an overnight stay with one ticket price across ALL room types, so guests can make the most of the night’s unlimited Beaujolais without having to worry about lifts or taxis.

This year’s event takes place in Askham Hall’s Bank Barn on Friday 17 November so that guests can celebrate with the weekend to look forward to and it will be, as always, hosted by Askham Hall’s charismatic Maître D and award-winning Sommelier, Nico Chieze. Guests will be spoiled with free-flowing Beaujolais, live French-style music, and a delicious traditional three course menu of French cuisine designed by Chef Richard Swale and this year, for the first time, tickets, which cost £140 per person for ALL room types based on two people sharing, include an overnight stay at Askham Hall, plus breakfast the next day.

Nico Chieze, Askham Hall’s Maître De Maison said: “Our Beaujolais Evenings have become incredibly popular over the years and our tickets tend to sell out as soon as we release them.  This year we’re holding it on a Friday so people can have a Saturday lie in and we’re including a bed for the night and breakfast the next day so they don’t need to worry about transport, or cooking with a delicate head.  The atmosphere is going to be fantastic, I can’t wait!”
