BUSINESSES from across the North West have been nominated for the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Volunteer Awards. The awards aim to showcase their considerable efforts in supporting their local small business community.
With six award categories, the Awards aim to recognise the excellent work undertaken and to recognise and acknowledge volunteers that go ‘above and beyond’ to ensure that the small business voice is not only heard but also acted upon.

FSB Development Manager Paul Foster said: “It is great that businesses from Lancashire and Cumbria have the opportunity to be acknowledged at our FSB Volunteer Awards. It’s a great way to say a huge thank you for their commitment to supporting small businesses, and also to celebrate some of their successes. We are very grateful to all our volunteers who run their own small businesses, and yet still give their time to help raise the profile of our local small business community.”
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) exists to promote an environment in which small businesses can survive and thrive, and is reliant upon a team of professionals and volunteers to champion the interests of small businesses.
