A STUDENT at the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Penrith has been congratulated by award-winning accountants Lamont Pridmore for her exceptional work.
Rosie Hogg has been presented with the Lamont Pridmore Business Studies Student of the Year 2019 award at a special presentation held by the school at Penrith Methodist Church.
Rosie was nominated by the school’s Head of Business Studies and Economics, Ms Morgan, for being so hardworking and conscientious and for achieving the highest score amongst her peers in her economics A-Level examinations, during which she received an A.
The school’s awards presentation was attended by Trevor Iredale of Lamont Pridmore, who commended Rosie on her work and drive to succeed.
Speaking after the ceremony, he said: “It was fantastic to celebrate this achievement with Rosie. She is very dedicated to her studies and has a real passion for the subject, which should bode well for her future.”
As part of her achievement, Rosie was presented with vouchers and a trophy by Lamont Pridmore.
The firm is a long-time supporter of the school’s annual awards ceremony and is proud of its association with so many successful students.
