Property and construction advisory firm, Jones Melling, has opened its fourth UK office, in the heart of the Lake District.
The firm, which specialises in commercial and residential building surveying, quantity surveying and project management, has located its Cumbria office at Low House Business Centre in Windermere.
Jones Melling advises clients across the UK and its move to the Lake District follows a period of sustained growth in the Lake District region.
Gary Melling, co-founder and director of Jones Melling, said: “We already have a strong and growing client base in the region and a number of close partnerships with other professionals such as architects and solicitors. The opening of a dedicated office is a natural progression for us.
“As a World Heritage Site, the Lake District has some of the most unique built and natural environments in the world. Our reputation as a specialist in vernacular buildings and property projects in heritage and conservation regions has seen us secure more instructions from people buying, selling, renovating or investing in properties in the region.
“We have also grown our presence in the holiday property market, advising buy-to-let investors and leisure operators.”
Jones Melling’s client base in the region includes homes owners, second home owners, property investors, estate agents, holiday property operators and solicitors, as well as commercial businesses.
Gary sees a positive future for the region. He added: “It’s been such a difficult twelve months for everyone involved in the regional economy including business and property owners, employees and investors. But it’s a resilient region and a global brand and we are seeing huge pent up demand to make up for lost time.
“Our team wants to play a part in that recovery by helping property owners, buyers, sellers and investors, and businesses in any way we can.”
Jones Melling employs 19 staff and has additional offices in Chester, London and Preston.
