Mike Starkie, Mayor of Copeland, said: “We hope residents and visitors take the opportunity to shop local in the run up to Christmas.

“We have some fantastic local businesses selling great products that you can’t find on the internet, and an array of eateries to enjoy.

“We’re encouraging all residents to support Copeland’s businesses this festive season.

“It’s also free to park at The Beacon Museum where there is a range of family activities running, so there really is no better time to visit.”

Copeland residents are asked to note that there are a number of marked permit-only bays within these car parks that are not available for public use. Additionally, only the car parks listed above are subject to this offer; there are other car parks that are privately-owned and may be subject to payment.
