A leading estate agency has strengthened its lettings department by appointing two new Property Managers.
C&D Rural has welcomed Joanne Birkett and Morgyn Vevers to its lettings team to help expand the agency’s portfolio of residential properties across Cumbria, Dumfries & Galloway and the Scottish Borders.
Sarah Gemmell, Head of Lettings at C&D, said: “Joanne and Morgyn will help to develop the lettings services we currently provide. It’s great to have them on board and they’re settling into the team so well already.
“By expanding our support team, we are in a great position to make matters as smooth as possible for landlords and tenants and ensure the letting process remains stress free with our growth.”
Joanne joins C&D Rural following several years in the property development and lettings sector, progressing to a senior-level position at a local housing association.
She said: “I am delighted to have joined C&D Rural as it is a successful family-run business that has a great reputation for providing friendly, bespoke services to local people.
“I enjoy the variety and challenges that each day working in estate agency brings, and I particularly value the opportunity to interact with customers from a range of backgrounds, each with their own unique circumstances and requirements.
“Supporting clients throughout their property journey and helping them move into their new home is extremely rewarding.”
Morgyn has previously worked in housing and financial services, including the mortgage sector, and is excited to be developing the lettings services at C&D.
She said: “My previous roles gave me experience of understanding customers’ needs and helping them to find the right solutions. Working in the mortgage sector also gave me a good understanding of the financial side of property and the importance of being accurate, organised and being able to explain things clearly.
“These are skills I’ve been able to transfer over to C&D Rural to allow me to help landlords and tenants understand their requirements through clear communication and ensuring any issues are dealt with as quickly as possible.
“I like helping people, whether that’s by answering questions or making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the entire letting process.”
