St John’s Staff Hire Temps Agency and Recruitment are hosting a recruitment fair at Castle Green in Kendal on September 7.
The event will take place between 4 pm and 7:30 pm, and the agency is providing free refreshments, as well as access to a bunch of big name employers, all of whom are looking to recruit on the night!
A spokesperson for St John’s Staff Hire said: “It is a drop in event, so pop in for as long as you like. This is one of Cumbria’s best opportunities to meet a diverse range of employers, and see what vacancies they have to offer.
“There’s no commitment to sign-up there and then, but we think it is a great idea to talk to representatives of some of Cumbria’s biggest employers about what they can offer you.
“The likes of The National Trust, Lakeland Kitchenware, The Inn Collection Group, English Lakes Hotels, Leeu Collection, The Simon Rogan Group and Brathay Trust will all be attending, along with representatives from major building and engineering firms, inclusive of Anord Mardix.
“Of course we will also be there, providing you with plenty of detail about how to register for the St John’s Staff Hire agency and pick up flexible shifts as a temp all across the Lake District and beyond. If child care is going to cause you a potential issue, we have a children’s creche hosted by our co-hosts CADAS, which will feature a bit of light entertainment to keep them busy. There will be free refreshments, and sweet treats. We hope to see you there! “
