A soon-to-open premium country inn and hotel is offering customers a first chance to try out its services ahead of its full opening.
The Fleece at Ruleholme, near Brampton, is readying to open after a two-year re-build that has seen a new multi-million pound landmark rise alongside the A689.
The team behind the hotel, restaurant, pub and wedding/conference venue is aiming to open its doors in late September – and is offering customers a first chance to sample what it has to offer.
Co-owner Robert Cowan said: “We know there‘s a phenomenal amount of interest in the new Fleece and we’ve been inundated with people signing up for our mailing list. When we’re ready to open the doors, we want to reward that interest by offering some great discounted chances for people to come along and see what we’re all about.”
While contractors are putting the finishing touches to building and grounds, Robert and his team are working hard on finalising décor, working on menus and completing their team for the ambitious project.
While most of the senior team is in place, Robert said they were always keen to add to it and could offer the right candidates both management and kitchen roles.
He added: “Opportunities to work in a brand new building, with all its modern features and be part of the team that opens for the first time to the public do not come along every week.
“We’re really excited that we’ve got some top talent working with us and there are great careers in hospitality on offer for those with the right skills and attitude.”
The Fleece will boast a traditional country inn, meals served in the glass-fronted Oak room, fine dining in Bridge restaurant and 200 covers in Hadrian’s Suite wedding and function room.
In its 23 bedrooms and suites, there’s custom artwork, Illy coffee machines, 4K TVs, direct-dial phones, luxury toiletries and relaxing seating areas. Select rooms also feature deep copper or slipper bathtubs, Juliet balconies and rustic, oak beam, and Lanercost stone detailing.
