Cumbrian accountancy practice celebrate staff success

A West Cumbrian accountancy firm are celebrating this week following the success of two of its employees, who have achieved leading industry qualifications. 

Robinson+co are an accountancy practice in West Cumbria with over 30 staff and three offices, and are focused on provided training and helping their employees achieve industry-chartered status.

Robinson+co employee Charlotte Todhunter has recently been undergoing study towards becoming a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW) and Joanne Hagreen, robinson+co’s payroll manager and tax specialist has passed her final exam with flying colours and now holds the prestigious qualification of Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Speaking of her achievement Joanne, who has worked at the practice for seven years, said: 

I am delighted that I have successfully achieved the qualification of CTA after completing my final exam. I appreciate all the support that not only robinson+co have provided me, but my family and friends too. It has taken years of dedication and sacrifices to get to this point in my career and I am looking forward to continuing this with robinson+co.”

Peter Ellwood, managing partner at robinson+co said: “Congratulations to Joanne and Charlotte for passing their professional exams. The effort they put in has now been rewarded, well done. They are both assets to the team and as an employer we are constantly investing in our team to improve their knowledge and skills.”

The company have offices in Workington, Whitehaven, and Gosforth and like many others were working from home for the bulk of the last 18 months, Peter adds: “Another reason to be proud, has to be down to the commitment Charlotte and Joanne have both shown, through what has proved to be a rather strange and busy period for robinson+co, with most of their courses being cancelled and moved online.”
