CreativeHutch – a rapidly growing brand, design and marketing agency in Carlisle – has been nominated for a distinguished national business award.
The Enterprise Vision Awards – also known as the EVAs – are the UK’s largest business awards dedicated solely to women. CreativeHutch co-founders Vicky Hutchinson and Carol Wallace have been shortlisted thanks to their entrepreneurial leadership, rapidly growing business and local contributions.
They will be flying the flag for Cumbria in the creative industry category, where they sit alongside a host of thriving and creative women-led businesses from across the UK.
Founded in July 2021 by Vicky Hutchinson and Carol Wallace, CreativeHutch has quickly established itself as a one-to-watch, providing a range of services to businesses locally in Cumbria as well as internationally. The team is well-regarded for creating eye-catching visuals and effective campaigns that help businesses large and small.
The agency is no stranger to the EVA Awards, after narrowly missing out on the top prize last year.
Vicky Hutchinson, co-founder and brand strategist, said, “We’re so excited to be shortlisted in the EVA awards again this year. Whether we are winners on the night or not we are just so proud to be finalists against some fabulous women and their incredible businesses.”
The Carlisle-based agency has been shortlisted alongside seven other finalists from across the UK, namely, Photo Baby in Lancashire; Kirsten Smith the Kitchen Designer in Birkenhead; Biddis Lifestyle Design in Formby; Just Like Me Books & MIXD Reality in Birmingham; Electric Peach in London; Brilliant Trees Media in Salford; and Fan the Glory with Tori in London.
Carol Wallace, co-founder and marketing director, added, “Being nominated for the EVAs is a big honour for Vicky and I and our growing team. We’re really proud of our business’ achievements, and our commitment to supporting the local community and the next generation of creatives.”
CreativeHutch has experienced a number of milestone successes in the past 12 months, with a team that has more than doubled in size, an award win at the inaugural Carlisle Elite Awards and patronage of Carlisle Youth Zone and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice. CreativeHutch is also committed to promoting gender equality and supporting women in business.
The voting window for the EVAs closes on Friday 9 August 2024, with the winners to be announced at the awards ceremony later this year.
