Hot on the heel of its sell-out Enola and Sherlock Holmes inspired Disciplinary Masterclass, Burnetts will host the next in its series of Cumbria CIPD Employment Law events – this time a Victor Meldrew inspired Grievance Masterclass.
Perfect for HR professionals and anyone who deals with people management, the free morning masterclass will pay homage to the grumpy character and his classic tv programme ‘One Foot In The Grave’ to cover all the basics of conducting grievances, as well as some of the most commonly-made mistakes and tricky areas.
Taking place at The Auctioneer in Carlisle from 9.30am until noon on Thursday 9th February, the interactive session will give delegates the legal knowledge and practical skills necessary to confidently manage grievances within their organisation.
The event will be led by Cumbrian Employment Law specialist Anna Lovett. Anna said:
“Managing grievances can be overwhelming and problematic, so our aim for this event is to equip those attending with the knowledge to deal with these procedures competently and confidently.
“It will be enjoyable and entertaining but most importantly – highly informative. Our last event was a sell-out so we encourage anyone who wants to come to book their place asap!”
The Cumbria CIPD Grievance Masterclass is free to attend. To find out more and book a place, please visit https://www.burnetts.co.uk/events/grievance-masterclass-2023.
