As we put away our summer clothes, picnic baskets and deck chairs, the clocks go back and the nights draw in, the annual domestic debate begins – is it cold enough to put the heating on yet? However, a Cumbrian business is producing a product to help settle the arguments in the bedroom.
The temperature of a room and bed have been grounds for divorce in some cases, as the battle of the sexes rumbles over the thermostat and bedding. And a survey of 15,000 adults in England by Dreams revealed 22.4 per cent of men and 33.8 per cent of women were annoyed by their partner ‘giving off too much heat’ in bed.
