Baines Wilson LLP employment expert guest speaker at iRowe Seminar – Long COVID

Caroline Rayner of Baines Wilson LLP

University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) is hosting the iRowe Seminar which this year is looking at long COVID and how to support your staff and protecting your business.

It has recently been estimated that around 2 million people in the UK are experiencing long COVID. This is a new condition with a lot still unknown about it. What we do know is that symptoms can be severe, can fluctuate and can significantly impact on people’s lives. This makes the condition a real workplace issue in terms of how to navigate it, and how to enable people to return to work and maintain attendance.

In this seminar, Caroline Rayner of Baines Wilson LLP will explore the legal implications of managing this condition in a work context, practical steps that employers can take in doing so and how you can both protect your business and help employees who are struggling.

The online event will take place on Tuesday, 29 November from 9.30am-10.30am. Booking is essential to receive the online invite. You can book your place here.
