Attraction introduces discount for emergency services staff on the frontline

Ahead of Emergency Services Day 2023 (this Saturday 9 September), a popular Lake District adventure attraction has introduced a new year-round discount for heroic men and women on the frontline.

Emergency Services Day is an annual event held every September to raise public awareness of the NHS and emergency services and encourage people to show their support for the day-to-day work they do.

High ropes adventure company Treetop Trek Windermere, now part of Zip World, says it’s the perfect time to highlight their newly introduced 15% discount for emergency services personnel.

The adventure site offers a range of exhilarating treetop challenges and a 250-metre zip line, all based in the beautiful Brockhole location. Visitors tackling the aerial adventures can swing, climb, balance, and ‘fly’ through an ancient woodland canopy overlooking England’s largest natural lake.

The permanent emergency services discount will apply throughout the year to all ‘blue light’ card holders, NHS employees, military personnel, and veterans.

General Manager, Tom Patrick Kenny, says, “We want to do our part to highlight the vital work that our emergency services, NHS, and armed forces do on our behalf. We hope that people will make the most of the opportunity to get out in the fresh air with their families and enjoy some well-deserved downtime”.

The emergency services card holder just needs to show their ID on the day – and take part in the activity – to receive the discount for themselves and up to three other people.

Activities can either be booked on-site or by calling the booking centre on 01248 601444. This offer can’t be used in conjunction with any other offers, discounts, or to buy vouchers.
