Classes For Adults
Arts and Crafts
Brewery Arts has a wide range of art and craft classes to help release creative energy – all taught by friendly and experienced tutors. There is a selection of beginner sessions for anyone wanting to try something new like Black and White Film Photography, Life Drawing, or Oil Painting. The popular Art in the Bar sessions also return this season which feature a variety of craft lessons accompanied by delicious pizza.
Music
Start singing and socialising with the brilliant bunch in the Brewery Arts Choir! Or if you are tuning into the idea of learning an instrument, then try the Beginner Ukulele lessons. It is easy to learn a few chords and strumming patterns that will enable you to play some well-known songs.
Dance and Theatre
The popular Mature Movers class is a brilliant opportunity to socialise while keeping fit. Act Your Age also continues this season which is a brilliant way to reconnect with past talents or simply unleash a theatrical side. These are sociable groups where you will also develop acting and dance skills without pressure.
Classes For Young People
Arts and Crafts
Classes such as Makers Club, Art Explorers, and Artseen will continue for children to immerse themselves in a number of projects and take inspiration from a diverse range of artists and makers. Equally, Brewery Arts has introduced workshops such as Fashion Futures where young people with a specific interest can learn more about a topic they love.
Music
Last season Brewery Arts introduced Young Music Producers where young people came together to write and record their own music. Following its success, the venue has introduced Electronic Music Production for ages 15-19 who wish to also explore beat making, synth programming and lyric writing.
Dance and Theatre
Stage Stars returns for young children to move, create and play while working on different skills for the stage. All the usual youth dance and drama lessons also continue this season which offer young people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to develop their skills, make new friends, and most importantly have fun.
