Chef patron Kevin Tickle co-owner of Heft, High Newton and multi-award-winning Manchester based chef Adam Reid will join forces to create a unique six-course menu at Heft on Monday 21 March.
During the evening, each chef will produce three very distinctive dishes to delight your taste buds from their respective repertoires, utilising the very best seasonal British produce throughout, much of which they will carefully source for the evening from across the north of England.
Adam Reid working alongside Simon Rogan launched The French at iconic central Manchester hotel The Midland Hotel in his first role as Head Chef in 2013. Rogan left The Midland in 2016, Adam stayed on and took over the reins becoming chef patron, opening his own restaurant Adam Reid at The French later that year.

Reid’s menus showcase his own personal interpretation of modern British cooking, utilising the finest quality produce available to create dishes brim full of bold yet simple flavours, plates of food that show real flair and understanding.
Adam Reid at The French marries perfectly both the old and the new. The Grade II listed dining room is steeped in history but provides guests with an inviting and relaxed setting in which to enjoy exemplary service and truly delicious dishes, delivering a dining experience like no other in Manchester.
Unsurprisingly, Reid was awarded four AA rosettes for culinary excellence in 2019, which he has successfully retained since alongside Adam Reid at The French featuring in the Good Food Guide’s Top 50 UK restaurants.
Tickets for the dinner are limited and are priced at £130 per person, which includes a six-course menu prepared by both chefs.
And if you wish, you can also choose to enjoy expertly matched wines alongside each dish carefully selected by the Heft team from some of the world’s best small wine producers to complete the experience.
