TWO Ulverston businesses have come together to create a free step-by-step, easy to use guide to creating some festive and cheering up the house.
Lindal based home fragrance experts, Wax Lyrical, sought to inspire creative ways to fill homes with beautiful decorations. The team reached out to Ulverston florist, Bluebell & Ivy, in a bid to encourage households to tackle the uncertainty head on and get creative this Christmas.
Together, Wax Lyrical and Bluebell and Ivy have created a step-by-step guide to making a floral surround for a festive candle at home. The natural, elegant decoration would brighten any table or surface all season, and take centre stage at the dining table this Christmas.
Jenn Park, added: “Candles are already feel-good items. By bringing into the home with a touch of outdoor beauty, that little bit of joy is heightened. Many parts of the usual festive season excitement are missing this year, so we wanted to find a way to encourage everyone to create special memories. They could create something beautiful together as a household or create one as a gift to a neighbour or friend to lift their spirits.”

In true celebration of festive fragrances, Wax Lyrical, worked with Bluebell and Ivy to create a floral centrepiece which starred all of the classic scents, like cinnamon, orange and pine.

We really want to encouraging people to have a go at making their own decoration this year as the end result will be extra special.”
