Fancy something a bit different at the theatre? For an infectiously energetic and ingenious evening of alternative puppetry aimed at adults, Blind Summit Theatre’s latest show, The Table is a must-see, coming to Theatre by the Lake.
This show was a major hit at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Told with Blind Summit’s trademark puppetry style, the unusual show tells the story of Moses, a puppet with a cardboard head who is having an existential crisis at the hands of his puppeteers.
Performed in the Main House on Saturday 4 February at 7.30pm, the combination of the dark humour of Samuel Beckett and the flat-pack technology of Ikea makes this a unique and captivating performance which is perfect puppetry for grown-ups. Make sure you don’t miss this unique spectacle. Tickets cost £14 - £8.
